We live in the northern Ohio area and she is a very spiritual person. Read a book by Kim Sheridan about the afterlife of animals; but the website she referred to is not valid on Yahoo. Would like to know if anyone knows any animal communicators that she can contact by e-mail or phone.

i have a malti poo about 4 months old i already have a estimate for his insurance cost.I wanted to know if vpi pet insurance is good or not.the plan that i want includes common problems, routine care, and additional care.so is this a good type of insurance for this plan.please also does insurance allow you to get free flea medicine(my pup is on advantage multi)thanks.

Well, suppose you have a kitten that needs kitten food, a cat that needs cat food, and a senior cat that needs senior cat food. How are you supposed to keep their diets separate? Then adjust them to the next stage of food and keep keeping their diets separate?

Should I be concerned if my dog found the box i got in the mail with two bottles of pet vitamins. there were a total of 160 pills. now there are 9 left. she also got into the trash.

My 5 year old cat has been diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. We have been going in about once a month to get a steroid injection because of a recurring infection in the back of her mouth. The vet told me that steroid injections as a long term treatment is not good but she does so well when she gets these shots!

How does the repeated treatment of steroids affect cats?

What other health problems does this create?

Putting her down is definately not an option right now because there is no need. I have no other cats. I took in a stray kitten and at the first vet appointment we got the bad news. This is how my 5 y/o contracted FIV. Unfortunately, the kitty never recouperated from being spayed and we had to let her go on April 11th. I am not looking forward to this again but I know it will have to be done at some point.

I am torn between having a full mouth extraction done to avoid many more lesions in her mouth or steroid injections (which works really well) but are not good long term.

Has anyone had to make this decision too?

Does anyone know what the average annual cost of horse insurance is Canada. Im not looking for loss of use. Mortality valued at 10000 horse and medical and surgical coverage. what is the average deductible on medical.
I`m not talking about HCBC rider`s insurance (the insurance that covers you if you get sued for breaking someone else`s horse`s leg, for example)
I mean medical and surgical insurance. Like health insurance for horses. So that when your horse colics, the treatment would be covered. I have read its about 400 annual but that just does not seem right to me.

I’d love to hear from people who HAVE PetPlan insurance (others with expertise in pet insurance are welcomed too). I have a 3 year old indoor cat, Sadie. My love for Sadie is much deeper than my wallet, LOL. My main concerns involve Sadie developing cancer or some other long term condition. I’d hate to have her put to sleep for a treatable condition due to inability to pay! According to my research, PetPlan is the only pet insurance which will continue providing care from year to year (i.e. won’t consider a previously diagnosed condition “preexisting” providing it developed after the insurance was first purchased). Sadie currently has no known illnesses. Does PetPlan really live up to their image? How does it work: do you have to pony up the money first and wait for reimbursement, or if your pet needs a procedure to save her life, will they pay for it (given that you’re met your deductible and co-pay requirements)? I’ve never dealt with pet insurance so need your help. Thanks!

A Grundo, a Gnorbu, a Gelert, and a Grarrl need to walk from Sakhmet to Qasala during a really bad heat wave. The heat is so bad, it’s not possible to cross the open desert without some sort of shade. Fortunately, they have one umbrella. Unfortunately, however, only a maximum of two pets at a time can fit under the umbrella. The Grundo can cross the desert alone in 20 minutes. The Gnorbu can make the crossing alone in 16 minutes. The Grarrl can make the crossing alone in 8 minutes. And the Gelert can make the crossing in 4 minutes. Note that when two pets are making the crossing, they must do so at the pace of the slower pet!

What is the minimum number of minutes that it will take for all of the pets to safely be together in Qasala?

alright i called around before i went to any vet. these guys seemed to have the most reasonable prices and they had the same shots my Akita’s breeder had given him.

they said they would except it (if you have three parvo shots on your dog and it can be proved after the third shot all you have to pay for is the actual visit)

their were a couple of things that hacked me off.
1. my appointment was at 3pm i got in at 4:30pm
2. they said he needed his nails clipped when i had already clipped his nails they are white so you can see the vessels and any more clipping would be painful. i clip my dogs nails carefully so i dont hurt them.
3. they talked like salesmen and told me the flea and tick i had been using for years (advantix and some other whichever of the three is available i get recently only advantix) was useless and then admitted they used advantix! and she had planned to charge me 10.00 more than it would cost me to get it in the store.
4. they said the shot the breeder gave THAT included paper work and proof of vaccination was non existent! and kept trying to get me on their wormer even though im using the wormer the breeder gave me. i dont know the title for it i used it two days ago it was a liquid type.

5. they kept trying to sell me some 400.00 plan and i kept saying no i told them i was getting pet insurance soon and they got really offensive saying they had better policys. well the only thing it covered was taking off the actual price of the visit which is 34.00 and covers shots for so many years.

the pet insurance im looking at covers into old age as long as i pay 33.00 a month i have panic, genetic and general. covers if he gets hit by a car, gets bloat or hip displacement and covers his shots.

they didnt have anywhere for the people or animals to sit. they didnt provide a muzzle for an obviously aggressive dane mix or the chihuahua or even another place for them to be.

the dane kept launching itself at me and Romeo as well as our new friend a 100 some odd pounds rottweiler who had excellent manners only barked once at the dane when it tried to jump him. the didnt tell the woman to control him at all he nearly trampled a Yorkie.

what would you have done while all this was going on what are your views of banfield.

Corgi Girl: well they had to give a free bag to the rottweilers owner because the dane mix kept trying to attack him (rott was being really good) but breed stereotype came in and they forced him outside he got real mad but when he left the dane got worse and tried to attack romeo and i picked it up by the collar and shoved it back into its worthless owner. the rott got free food i got a free bag of dog treats. because we both jumped them about being against a breed because of stereotypes.
Rogue: im certainly looking into another vet ! and so should you bloody stool!? that just doesnt sound right at all they didnt offer an explanation as to why their was blood in the bowels?
