My sister noticed a little patch of ringworm on her leg about a week ago and now it has spread all over her torso and the top part of her legs. She has been using monistat for several few days and it hasn’t helped at all. If it doesn’t go away in about a week or so, she is going to go to the doctor. Do you know of any home remedies that work? Especially over such a large area? Thanks!

I am starting a horse program.. basically we have kids come out for a few hours and spend some time learning about the basics of horse care and such with a little riding at the end.

we are not sure if we will need liability insurance how much do you think getting liability insurance on something like that would cost?

we do have waivors we are having the parents will have to sign.. or would those be enough?
we haven’t started anything yet so don’t worry.. i was just wondering if anyone had any cost estimates

I’m going to re-phrase my question: Are constipation, foul-smelling oral discharge, weight loss, and lack of appetite symptoms of feline leukemia?
FYI – My cat is at the vet as we speak. They’re concerned that one of the causes of her symptoms could be feline leukemia….but while I wait, I’m just doing a little research of my own.

My one year old has kennel cough and has has it for a week. She is almost better. We have a vacation planned in a couple days and will be at a relatives house that has a dog. How can we keep their dog safe?

Does anyone know of any good holistic remedies for a dog with distemper or with seizures? We are currently doing all we can for her as far as prescribed meds from the vet but im desperate to see if anything else will help her. I know that there is no cure for distemper but I’m trying to find something to help the seizures from progressing or getting worse!

Is it worth it? What company do you use and can you tell me about how much it is monthly? Are the co-pays reasonable?
Our dog Maggie has had a few health problems, and may have ongoing skin problems. We just spent a lot on Mange medicines, for the Derma-something Mange. And she has serious anxiety issues…she’s not an inexpensive dog! I’m wondering if doggy insurance is the way to go!

MRI’s, PET and CAT Scans, etc… R&D is expensive. And the cost to own/rent medical equipment is very high, so Hospitals and Doctors need to keep using it and bill insurance companies.

For good or bad, would this change? Would companies still be motivated to produce better equipment?

My fiance and I are getting married June 14, 2009.
This will be our first apartment. Both of our parents own homes/ building and have tenants.
We live and are looking for an apartment in Queens, NY.
We are 23 and 24. No (live-in) kids or pets. I am a recent grad & I work part-time. And he works full time as well as 2nd part time job.

Our dream apartment would be a fairly modern 2 bedrooms, living room, bath and eat-in kitchen. With utilities included. And at least a 1 year lease.
What is an average/ fair price for an apartment like that..

Would it be better to pay my utilities or have them included?
What can i expect or need to do in result of having our own apartment?
What is your opinion on renter’s insurance?
Just any advice you have for first time renters would be appreciated!

from checking craigslist and ads, apartments with what we are looking for run from 00 (if your lucky) to 00 a month. and only half of the higher priced apartment include utilities, and these are private, not complexes.

I have a 4 month old Chihuahua and in December I will be traveling to see my husbands family in Mexico. I do not want to leave her here. What are the requirements? I know vaccinations but do they hae to be notorized or does she have to be in quaratine? Let me know any and all infomation that you may know or be able to find.
