In my previous question, I was asking about how to introduce my newly taken in stray cat, to my four year old indoor cat.

My stray, Lily, is very heavily pregnant. As in, we’re pretty certai this is the last week, at the most, of her pregnancy. We have absolutely no way of knowing when she got pregnant. What are the definitive final signs? Its been so long since we’ve had a pregnant cat in the house…

Why would he want stool samples if they tested negative for worms?

I was walking my dogs earlier and a small dog ran up to us. I knocked door to door trying to find the owner but had no luck. The dog has a rabies vaccination tag but animal care and control is closed. Is it possible to find the owner with the dogs registration number. I mean is there a website where I can search a database?

I have a pet rabbit but he sheds, and his hair is so light it just floats away and ends up everywhere. I put a air filter from Target next to his cage and it "catches" some of his hair but not nearly enough. In addition, the filter is making a black layer of grime appear on my walls and nearby electronics! Is there a filter that will simply catch the hair, but not necessarily filter the air and cause the grime?

Dog License- what do I need?

Okay, I know where to go, but what info do I need to bring? Is the rabies tag my dog wears the rabies proof I need to bring? Do I need any proof of shots (not sure I have them anyway)?

Since the radical liberals may lose Public Option as a Single-Payer Trojan horse, will they use a new strategy of simply DESTROYING ALL THE PRIVATE INSURANCE OPTIONS as the Baucus Bill appears to do?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2009/10/02/destroying_private_health_insurance_98556.html#

~~~~~~~~~~~
The Baucus bill includes an "individual mandate" that requires everyone to buy health insurance-but not inexpensive, high-deductible catastrophic health insurance. Instead, it imposes a requirement for pricier comprehensive coverage that pays for routine costs like annual checkups. The bill then requires that insurance companies provide coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, and that they charge customers at high risk of medical problems the same rates as those with lower risks-which means that these extra expenses will have to be paid for by raising everyone else’s premiums.
And then the Baucus bill delivers the knock-out punch: after forcing us into expensive comprehensive insurance plans and driving up the cost of those plans, the bill would impose a massive 40% tax on "gold-plated" plans-which turn out to include the health-insurance plans of many in the middle class. So that drives up the cost of insurance even higher.
You can see why it doesn’t much matter whether or not we have a "public option" in the original bill. Everything else in the bill is designed to make private health insurance unaffordable-so that in a few years, people will clamor for a government-subsidized "public option," and the same politicians who destroyed private health insurance can make a big show of coming to the rescue of their victims.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Will the Middle Class ever have autonomy on any important decisions in their lives after the next four years?

I used to take my kitty to an old country veterinarian. He’d just listened to the lungs, heart and palpate the abdomen. Everything okay – . Now that he’s retired, I’ve started going to this new clinic with young vets. Take kitty in, wait 2 hours in reception area, taken in to exam room. Wait another hour. Vet comes in. Weights kitty, listens to heart and lungs, palpates abdomen, checks ears, checks for flea dirt, looks in mouth and under tail, takes rectal swab to check for parasites and draws blood for more tests. Now kitty, who seems perfectly healthy to I’m told needs: flea repellent, antibiotic solution for scratch on ear, some kind of medicine to put in ears for infection/mites, medicine for intestinal parasites, vaccinations for rabies, leukemia, distemper and feline enteritis. Gets teeth cleaned and claws trimmed. Bill now over 0. Is this the norm now or am I getting soaked by over-excessive and unnecessary tests and treatments?

If I scratch my body and I might possibly have ringworm, can I get ringworm of the scalp if I scratch my head? Or is that two different thing?

He’s 3 months old, he only coughs when he’s playing tug-of-war or occasionally when he’s running. But not really. If it isn’t kennel cough what’s the reason and if I can, how can I treat it?

insurance. They will spend so much money on cat and dog food but not on health insurance. I gather if you get ill in America the care you get from your fellow citizens will be the complaints from the smell of your rotting body.
so if you are in the working poor or you lose your job you feel you should be abandoned? How much is spent directly or indirectly on dogs and cats?
Apparently some feel health care should not be a basic right because it is a basic need. Apparently they like their dogs but their neighbors/ well apparently he can drop dead. Is this part of why the damage after the huurican in Loiusianna is still there? Its sad. But the insurance companies must be thrilled.
