My dog has lyme disease. We removed the tick, and now it’s swollen up and his parts are turning dark. He doesn’t have insurance, either. I don’t have the money for a vet. Is there any home remedies for it?
I am sorry to those who lost a beloved dog from this disease, but I am hanging on to hope for my own.
we use fresh step now, but i don’t think it’s doing them much good.
Any veterinarian’s out there that can help me? I want to become an Animal nutritionist. How can I become one? What courses and what job can I get with it? Where can I work? I don’t want to be involved with surgery.
Thanks so much!
My pet dog tinku was an orphan when i found him. I took him and made him my pet initially he gave me terrible nights by howling and not eating anything and extreame case of flea infestation…. But later and found a vet and he dewormed tinku and also prescribed some medicines for flea infestation. Also took his vaccinations He seemed to be fine for 4 days but the problem started yesterday…. I fed him one part of mashed rice and 2 parts of cooked fish ( sardine ) yesterday noon and some dog food at night with plenty of water. Today morning i was terrified to see his loose motion which is like melted icecream. He vomited all the puppy food i gave him and it was real mess. I walked him outside and still he is doing his business…. But he doesn’t seems week:-) playing like hell with me…. Could any body tell me what is the problem
Our 4yr old cat tested positive for feline leukemia on June 30,she also has some upper resperatory isssues..coughing,sneezing,watery eyes etc.She has gone through one bottle of the amoxil and we are getting her another on monday as the first one didn’t really help enough. She did not eat on her own for 5 days or drink for about 3 (we feed/watered through a syringe) now she is eating/drinking but a VERY little bit.She has lost about 2 lbs (she started at 12)She sleeps ALOT and doesn’t play at all.
We have a vet and are willing to do what we can for her but our vet pretty much said this is what she has and sent us home with no options no plan nothing.I know this is incurable and the vet said that some cats give in quickly but it has only been two weeks,I want to help her for as long as she will let us but I don’t know how.We are going to get a different vet but I would like to hear any suggestions or stories, successful or otherwise.Any help is GREATLY appriciated,
Thank you.
everything is just fine the way it is? Or do they just want to make sure nothing changes and continue to collect the millions from the drug and insurance companies?
Before you mention the blue dog democrates-I know what they are doing. This question is about what the GOP wants to change in health care if anything.
Thank you to the ones who actually answered my question. The freedom of choice act seems like a sensible plan.
I have a dual sided brush for my cat. I don’t have a comb that goes along with it. How do I clean out the shed hair from the brush bristles?
Ok, ok! I get the pull method. I was just looking for something else because it doesn’t get that clean with just pulling it out.

My roommate’s girlfriend gave me my roommates dog and then my roommate confirmed this. I am moving out at the end of July and I have worries that they will try to take her back. She was never vetted or licensed by my roommate and I have taken over that. Is that enough to make her legally mine? My dog is licensed in Maine, but I live in New Hampshire.
Whats the best way to keep my dogs dog box warm during the winter? Right now I put straw in her box and put a blanket over top of that so shes comfortable. Is this good or should I buy her some kind of dog bed? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
He has chewed up both of my dogs beds and just now has shredded my outside lounge chair Is there a way that I can break him of this? The man who owns the dog doesn’t seem to care that he is tearing up my things. The man is also my landlord.
