I noticed a bite about back in May with dry skin around it but I didnt care really because I thought it was just a severe-misquito bite. Then I started to get fevers and a headache almost every day. I decided to see a doctor and got a test done saying I had Lyme’s Disease.
The dog ran aeway, and then we heard our Veterinarian shout as he and one of the workers chased him down the street and then across a field, and their voices slowly fading away… We couldn’t catch it, either, and later his owner called and said the dog went to his home.
My 8 week old cocker got her first parvo vaccine saturday when we adopted her from the shelter. She was fine Saturday night and all day Sunday. Today she’s had to go to the bathroom all day long. Sometimes it’s really loose. She was playful and ‘normal’ this morning. This everning, she’s thrown up twice and only wants to sleep. Is this a normal reaction to first shots? The vets are closed until tomorrow…
Well you may think this is stupid but when i’m older i want to own a riding school.

I am very worried about my 3 year old cat. I have one other cat which is full of energy, so anyone who answers my question could rule out that he’s lazy because of loneliness.
Symptoms:
wheezing
loss of weight
inactivity (isnt interested in play and lays around all day)

Dog has swelling on her right side. Vaccinations last Friday in the same area, but we are concerned if there is fluid build-up. She is acting normal and not favoring, but if we pet or massage that area she whimpers. What are the reasons for the fluid build-up?
Response to email – She received the full set of vaccinations, including rabies. We have not spoken to our vet about the swelling yet, but have an appointment for Saturday.
I should also add that she is a small dog, brussels griffon terrier mix.
I dont know wether or not squirrels can legally be kept as pets.
I am moving to the unicorporated area of Ada County (Boise address, but outside city limits). Am I required to get my dog a license?

We recently got a kitten that is 8 weeks old. We were advised to put her in a bathroom with the litter box. How long do we need to keep her confined before can let her roam free? Also we have Fresh Step litter. I am currently not seeing any urine clumps, is it because she has so little urine at this age?
Have you had a dog with lyme disease that didn’t respond to antibiotics? Please tell me about your experience with your dog and their treatment of Lyme. What were the symptoms? What meds did the vet give? Did first meds work? What ever information you can share is most appreciated.
Dog was on doxycycline, didn’t respond. Went on clavamox, also non responsive.
They did do inhouse testing for Lyme which was positive.
I’m thinking of becoming a marine veterinarian when im older but i wanna know how much they make.
