My dogs had a beds that were only a few cm on the floor. Now that it’s winter, they discovered the spare room and it’s bed it’s the same size as mine, although it’s a single instead of a double. My dogs need a definite alpha and if they think that they are starting to out-rank me, there will be trouble.
So does the height of the bed matter, or is it just if they share it with me or not?

Hello, I’m interesting in walk dogs and earn some money but I would like to know if I need a dog walking license or perhaps it’s not necessary. Also I heard about a liability insurance and I have no idea how to get that and I don’t even know if people really ask for that. So please give me some advise before starting. Thank you.

I am looking for a machine or something that you turn on in your house that will ball up the pet hair and make it easier to pick up and clean up. It is like an air filter but made specifically for balling up pet hair
jst for the record the first three and probably a lot of the answers to come are stupid and if that is what we wanted to do don’t you think we would have done it? Think people! I’m asking the question to find the name of this machine I knoe exsist because a family member used to have it (we don’t know how to contact her to find the name of it either. so don’t throw that up to me). I just want the name of the machine not sarcasstic remarks.
to the fourth poster I will lt you know if we find it

He is a stray that we took in and we did take him to the vet because of an URI and he was given an antibiotic. He is sneezing again and has watery eyes. What can I do in the mean time to make him comfortable? He was tested for HIV and Feline Leukemia and those were negative.

My boyfriend has a mild case, only in one eye and it only looks bad when he first wakes up. I believe this is allergy related because after wiping it off and using Visene and taking a Benadryl it is fine for the rest of the day. Also we spent the night at a friends house on Sat. that has a furry dog, which seemed to trigger it, he is allergic. I heard you can buy a over-the counter drop specifically for pink-eye, does this work? He just started a new job and not elligible for health insurance yet, so he is not covered and doesnt have much money to go to a doctor without insurance. Any ideas?

Clearly 26k a year isn’t a lot… How much money should I try and limit my rent too? It looks like I am looking at ~850$ a month each month for the best apartment complex in the area.
I don’t really want a roommate, but by the looks of it, getting a roommate would cost me ~500-600 a month in a 2bed/2bath (nicest areas near campus).
Problems include I have a large dog.
I honestly personally have no financial obligations (at least at the place I am at now) w/ the exception of rent and utilities. I assume I will have to pick up cable and internet on top of that in my new place. My pops pays for my car insurance and my car is completely paid off. Tuition and health insurance is covered in my program…
BTW, I have lived by myself for 3 years. Should I try and get a roommate (somebody also in the program) to make the transition easier?

I have two cats. One of them is really good about the litter box, but the other one is very haphazard. She drops her mess on the rim of the box so half goes in and half goes out, or she leaves her mess on the carpet, or she pees on magazines. Sometimes she buries her mess and sometimes she just leaves it lying out. Her box is clean, and we’ve tried getting two boxes so each cat can have its own territory, but the problem isn’t abating. This cat is a feline leukemia carrier, so we can’t give her away or send her to a shelter, because she would be put down. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have a small, raised bed that didn’t produce any tomatos, but is successful with lavender, basil, mint, cat mint, chili peppers and thyme. Since its the end of the season, I’m going to pull the sorry tomato plants and get ready to plant some goods for fall. While digging, I found a bunch of (EW) "White Grubs". I’ve also had problems with hook worms and army worms, (the black/yellow? striped ones).
The question: How can I prepare my soil/garden in order to avoid the pests and promote better growth? Personal experience and ‘step by step’ processes would be super-duper helpful! Thanks in advance …

I am trying to find out what complusary schemes are in place in Germany but am not a German speaker so this is prooving difficult. I understand dogs are trained to different proficiencies (i know about Schutzhund but this isn’t that) and you’re given a collar tag to show you’ve paid the license and your dog is trained.
