Ok i have 3 things on the list 1.) Dyson animal DC25 (purple one) 2.) Bissel pet eraser (which is a lot cheaper can buy at walmart) 3.) Bissell healthy home.

We have a long hair akita/shepheard mix which shed A LOT and a 1 year old daughter and we are sick of her rollin around in hair! We need one that will pick up all the hair well so she can play on the floor. Also, my hubby has allergy problems so that would be a plus with a hepa. Which one should i buy??? Is dyson worth 0?? I dont care on the money right now i just want one that does the job as well as long term!!
Yeah, Hoover windtunnel was on the list but i looked at the reviews and it had some bad ones suprisingly. Is it good with pet hair?

I’d like to add that I have no previous WORK history in a vet clinic, nor have I gone to school for such. But I live in an area that does not offer that type of schooling and as a result, on the job training is provided. I am looking for any entry into the business that will let me end up as a vet tech

I have broken my nose twice.. first time I went to the doctor and they sent me home and it always seemed crooked after that and then recently I hit it on the side of the couch playing with the dog… I attached pics and want to know what looks needs to be reset to you. I dont have health insurance so im just hoping it will come back straight or even straighter, hell. But how do you go about doing it and does any one know the general cost and /or if there is any retail made splints to use to keep it straight while reconnecting

The spinning brush under my vacuum always gets the hair knotted around it! Also, my carpet is rather thick and I have pet hair and pet food pieces to pick up. I have been pricing out a Dyson, but I would love a less expensive alternative. Thanks for your help!

I was at the pet store yesterday buying presents for my 3 year old cat at home. While in the checkout aisle, I let one of the adoptable cats play with the feather toy. After I brought the toy home my cat found it and played with it last night before Christmas. Naughty girl. However, thinking about it I’m paranoid I may have introduced my furbaby to the virus! The cat at the store played with it for a maximum of one minute. The toy was at home for a few hours before my cat found it.

How are McCain’s plans and ideology on major issues different from George W. Bush?
I ask this question because I think its pretty much universally accepted that George W. Bush failed as a president. So its important to me that we change directions form Bush policies.

I want to consider McCain, but I need to know on the top major issues , how he will he be different from President Bush.

Here are the major issues in my view:

1) The two wars that we have been embroiled in for years

2) The loss of american manufacturing sector and outsourcing of jobs

3) Why did Wall Street meltdown?.why did the people in charge of watching over them and running the watch dog agencies not see the mess coming over the years and not step in way before the meltdown to prevent it? What will we do to make sure it never happens again?

4) How do reverse several years of declining real wages?

5) Unaffordably high health care cost and health insurance cost

6) Illegal immigration..stopping the flow and going after illegal employers.

7) Making sure law makers actually pass laws that are in favor of the american people and the country at large and not laws that favor people in other countries, other countries, or just a special few in the USA.

What are McCain’s plans and how are they different from how Bush viewed things.

I’m looking for a good vet that will do in home checkups on cats for general wellness and possibly some vaccinations or flea treatment. I want to get my cat a general checkup and some vaccinations since she hasn’t had any since she was tiny, but she flips out every time i take her anywhere. The last time i took her to a vet they told me they couldn’t do anything with her without sedating her, and then when they tried to sedate her she scratched the assistant up very badly and then told me they would rather not handle her and that i should ask around for an housecall type vet. Sadly, they still charged me a ridiculous 120$, and nothing was done with her at all… She’s a very sweet cat, but she just doesn’t like strangers who handle her roughly and she’s even more terrified when i try to get her into the crate now. So i really need a reccomendation for a good housecall vet, and i wanted to get one from someone who has a pet, instead of the vet clinic – since i was totally unsatisfied

I’ve never had a dog before and we’re going on our 1st vet/vaccination visit on Saturday.

But what should I expect? I got my pet about 4 days ago and he’s getting his vaccinations then. He’s a 2-month old toy poodle.

Do I need to sign things? And how much would I usually need to pay?
And do I need to bring my puppy in a cage..? or is a leash alright?

I am a student in the UK, near London, I know a few sites where they give cats for free but I know that’s not all I need to do.
Do I have to get some sort of insurance for a cat? Vaccines? How often do I take it to the vet?
I’ve had lots of pets before but not in the UK and I’m not sure how things work here and how much would it cost me to actually take care of a cat and have it legally, insured and everything.
Could someone explain what the procedure is, please?

Well, I want to start a dog walking"operation". I do not want to get a business license, and I want to get liability insurance just in case and god forbid something were to happen to the clients dog. If I can’t what are my options? What should I state in the contract that would relieve my client and assure them the dog would be safe even if i dont have the insurance. One good thing is I can afford to pay if something were to happen. but anyways. A little help would be great thanks to those who answer.
