Well, I’m a little confused on the matter. I hear that if you move overseas to Europe and other places, your pet is put in quarantine, in some places as long as six months? What the heck happens to your pet for six months? Where do they keep them and how are the pets treated. One month would seem way to long for any pet owner to leave their beloved family member but six months seems almost neglectful. Are the owners allowed to visit every day? Do the pets get regular exercise and good care? I’m just very confused on why anyone would allow this to happen to their dog or cat if the pet has a clean bill of health from their vet. What other types of animals are required to go through this process, is it just dogs and cats? Is there anywhere in the world where you can’t take your pet with you? Please someone who is knowledgeable, explain all this to me. BTW, I don’t plan on moving overseas anytime soon, especially if I would not be able to take my dogs home with me immediately.
How much does it cost? *I wouldn’t want to sell any dogs without a license so where do I get it from?* :=)

We do not personally know the seller and have not actually seen the pup. Seller states pup is AKC registered and he bought it from a Breeder in the USA. Pup is currently located overseas and we want to find out if it is actually AKC registered before flying over and purchasing it.
I have a bag of red hard candy. It is the those round discs cinamon flavored. It had been left on the hearth opened. Apparently the dog got one and managed to unwrap it and was biting into it. It ate about half of it before I discovered what the heck she was doing. Will this make her sick?

My puppy is 11 weeks, and next week I’m making him an appointment to get his rabies shot. Im looking at a puppy vaccination schedule here online and it’s also recommended that I get him his second set of vaccines for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza, and parvovirus. Does that sound right?
*note:* this sunday he will be 12 weeks.
This is very confusing haha. Yes, he has had his first set of vaccines at 8 weeks, or 7 weeks. I have to look at his records again. Ive also emailed a vet clinic and asked them.

My mother has two golden conures that just recently laid eggs. Knowing now that they are at the age to breed and hopefully produce fertile eggs, she is interested in becoming a registered breeder. However, we are having a hard time finding out how to go about doing that. Any help or advice is appreciated!
I’m planning on getting two piggys in a few weeks. I don’t really want to buy them from a pet store, and would really love to get them from a breeder. Where could I find some breeders? I know craigslist has people that want to see their pets, but not actual breeders on there. If I call vets/shelters, do you think they could give me lists of breeders?
Or if anyone knows where I can find some Toronto or around here that would be great too.

I got my cat spayed feb. 23rd and recently she looks like she is starting to gain some weight. I don’t know if there’s any truth to it or not,but I’ve always heard that’s what happens after getting your cat fixed.
Plus they say their attitude changes,but hers has yet to change. She is still very hyper at times and playful.
