Is health insurance required to volunteer at a humane society in the state of Florida?
If so, where else can I volunteer for animals without having to have health insurance?

Nope, I don’t think so. Just call and ask or stop by.
Also thanks for volunteering at a shelter, it’s a rewarding experience and helps so much! (:
Hang on, I live in Ohio. I will look up the phone number for a few shelters in different areas and call them for you. I will ask them and also ask what the age limit is and what the duties are.
And I will get back to you in about 45 minutes.
Not at the humane society in my home town. They will except volunteers to play with kittens all day. You have to be 18 though. Good Luck!
