My Gramma in Law is currently in a nursing home, however, they do allow your pets to come visit, assuming that they have all their shots. Well, my boyfriends Aunt, whom Gramma lived with, won’t take the cat to get his shots and we want to because my daughter gave her a stuffed cat and she was just about in tears because she misses her real kitty so much, and seeing all her roommates pets just make it worse. The horrible thing is that we have no money to do this, but we are gonna try because no one else in the family will do so.

A friend found some kittens and I’ve just taken one of them from her. They were all taken to the vet just to make sure they were healthy but not given any shots. I think the kitty is about 6 months old. What kind of shots and tests should I ask the vet for?
I also have two other cats. One of them is almost two, I got him only a few months ago and I know he is not current on his shots. My other cat is 5 and occasionally goes outside, and though I got her all of her vaccinations at the proper times when she was young, she is no longer current on hers.

I have an adult male cat that is indoor, and recently I took in a younger female cat that snuck into our apartment building. She is not a stay, but was abandon by previous tenants. I kept the younger cat at my parents so she could be checked out by the vet, and she is clean from diseases and in good condition. The only problem is that she is pregnant and cannot have cat vaccinations until much later. My current cat had his annual shots in May of 2007, should I keep them apart since I am late in getting his again? I will be getting them shortly. The currently have separate litter boxes and food dishes (It has been a challenge to keep them apart) but a few times they have touched noses and patted around. When can I eventually combine, or leave them together in the same room and not worry about food dishes and potty boxes. I have had her about 2 weeks now too if that helps.

Hi All, ok so my 17 year old kitty recently passed away but I always had him vaccinated every year because he was an outside-during-the-day cat. I’m about to get a new kitty who will be strictly indoors only. I intend to have all his kitty vaccinations done, but will he really need vaccinations for the rest of his life if he’s indoors only?
I ended up finding a kitten and taking him home. No one claimed him so I decided to find a home for him. I want to get him fixed before adopting him out. Since I found him, I’m fairly sure he hasn’t had any vaccinations. Would I be able to get vaccinations right before getting him fixed? Thanks for any help!
