My dog ran away two nights ago. I spoke with an animal psychic today that believes she has been picked up by a stranger. Does anyone know any highly successful animal communicators? I would love to get a second opinion but I know not many are legitimate.

Please help me.

Have you ever tried anything like Reiki or flower essences on your horse? What about meditation with your horse? How did your horse react? What about shiatsu or chiropractic work? Did your horse like it? Have you tried accupuncture? Maybe you tried an animal communicator or a horse astrologer. Perhaps you are a qualified therapist in a chosen field that could shed some light on some therapies that are available. I’d like to add that I have no previous WORK history in a vet clinic, nor have I gone to school for such. But I live in an area that does not offer that type of schooling and as a result, on the job training is provided. I am looking for any entry into the business that will let me end up as a vet tech

I was just telling someone here about the time I took my last dog to an animal communicator. It was at a fund raising event for our rescue and was for 10 minutes. It was the most bogus thing I’ve ever been involved with. LOL

She told me to ask her questions and she would communicate my dog’s answers to me. ooooooooook.
I asked her a few questions, she closed her eyes and focused, then proceeded to give me training tips.
Then she ushered me out of the room 5 minutes early. This was over a year ago.

I just wondered if anyone here has ever used a pet communicator in any context and whether your experience was fulfilling or bogus like mine.

Or do you think it’s possible that some people can communicate with animals?

Before I seek an official diagnosis from a doctor, I’m looking for some opinions. Someone told me that she thinks I have Asperger’s Syndrome. I would love for a professional or experienced person to tell me what they think before I start hunting for a doctor. I don’t want to go through all of that for no reason.

I’m a 25 year old female. I have never been able to look people in the eyes. I have never had friends. As young as I can remember I have been awkward. I most of the time would play with my stuffed animals and my cat. This is still the case. Most people think I’m too strange to befriend, or are put off by my bluntness. I’m nothing like the other girls my age, and I know it. I wish I knew why!

I have rocked since I was able to sit up in my crib. The only friend I had in elementary school made me keep it a secret. Sometimes when I’m stressed out I flick my fingers, snap, or flap my hands a little. I love to twist and untwist rubber bands over and over again. Repetative things like that are soothing. To block out the world I wear headphones and put one song on repeat for the whole day. This is soothing, also. If my routine is disrupted it causes a panic attack. I’m a horrible communicator, and sometimes when I have trouble getting across to people I melt down or get angry. Little annoyances can throw me into a tantrum, but I have better control over that than I used to.

Light is very painful to my eyes, some more than others, but at the same time I have low light blindness. Certain textures or feelings drive me CRAZY! Some sounds agitate me so much that I have to leave the room. They don’t bother anybody else that bad. My affect is not flat, and I can be very emotional. Just not emotionally competent. I scored a 36 on the AQ.

I might add that I have suffered abuse as a child and an adolescent in the foster care system. So sometimes I don’t know if this is Asperger’s or PTSD. Maybe it’s both! What do you think?

And I think that the biggest difference between autism and Asperger’s is that people with Asperger’s have average to above average IQ. So my being able to write this is not a rule-out.

In my years with horses i have tried every route from traditional to monty roberts and recently used a communicator. She was amazing! Told me things she could never have known. I am a spiritualist and so always open to this kind of thing. Does anyone else have any experience with a communicator? Was it good or bad? What did they say? Who did you use? I love other peoples opinions.
(I realize i am setting myself up for some smartar*e comments here from skeptics but i don’t mind i find it funny)

I am totally in agreement that most people who claim to be psychic or communicate with animals are either mad or con artists, I bet you are all thinking i am some hippy type but i am totally the opposite. Was non believer until about 6 years ago. I tried to flog a woman with an interior design business some advertising and she was a phschic. She just spouted out loads about me and even called my dead aunt by name. I never paid her or anything so wasn’t being ripped off i was just sat in a business meeting gob smacked. She and i have become friends over the years and i can grill her and ask her loads of questions so have gotten understanding. Lots more to it but i also have a friend that is an animal communicator once again when i was in trouble with a sad little mare i had. Again she spoke to me once said she knew how kind i was and read all four of my horses for nothing to help me.
I Love horses and because all of the horses i have had over the last 20 years have been rescued or "problem" i have taken the time to look into every avenue of how to work with them from BHS, to monty roberts, individual trainers, communicators and alternative therapists. I didn’t believe in a lot of methods and still think some is rubbish but i do know what is what for myself. I would never give an opinion about something i hadn’t experienced for myself. The communicator was actually a psychic she doesn’t talk horse! She sees mixtures of pictures or symbols and can sometimes hear things and will translate it so that i could understand. Said lots i have four horses but examples of stuff, were nick names i use, individual problems i have had with each horse, their backgrounds etc. Also they told her i rescued them all. However overnight my mare changed behaviour wise and EVERYONE had worked with her with no success til then.

Alright, hear me out LOL. i don’t know what made me think of this, but today i was remembering when i was looking up chiropractors for my horse, one of the facilities had an "animal communicator". then i was remembering there was an article in horse & rider (one of the Drummer stories, if any of you read H&R) where the lady used a horse whisperer. i’m looking strictly for answers from people who have used an "animal communicator" or know someone who has. i know we all have our opinions of whether or not this works, and i’ll keep my opinion to myself. totally different question!

so i just want to hear opinions/stories from those of you who have experience in this area. i’m just bored haha. thanks
