how to advertise new pet-sitting service in my township for free?

Hi,
I just started a pet-sitting service in my town.I have purchased
insurance and bonding (though I haven`t any employees)
I have made up my business cards (I checked the availability
of my business name}. I have joined Napps,PSI, and Care,com
also Petsit-usa, I have put my listing on superpages along
with my website link. I have made up flyers that match my cards
and have gone around to community boards to put them up.
I haven`t gotten one call! Any advice?? Please????

Place free ads on Craigslist.com for areas near you.
Ask if you can leave your cards and brochures at pet related businesses in your area (vets/ puppy training classes/ pet stores/ dog parks/ etc…)
Hang out at the local hot spots for dog walking and hand out your marketing materials to anyone walking their dogs.
i found my pet sitter from business cards she left at the vet. put them up and around any place that deals with animals–vet offices, pet stores, etc.
well, you could use your car, like have same magnets made to stick on your car….its not exactly free but when you drive by, people really look. also, instead of just posting flyers, put them on peoples cars or even ask your local vet. to hand them out.
