Raw diet, or dry food?

My dog eats Wellness,
but I’m reading up on raw diets.
Are raw diets better?
And do they sell "Natures Intent" in pets stores?

Alot of raw diets are made yourself, but they like sell containers of raw food for dogs.
Are raw diets better then organic dry food?
My dog would love raw meat instead.
any info would be much appreciated ^___^

I believe that the purina company has spent millions of dollars to develop their feeds, for all animals, not just dogs. I feed it from puppyhood through their adult lives and haven’t had a problem. In fact my vet is pleased that one of my dogs eats purina sensitive formula because of her allergies. No doubt that organic is good and better for all of us, dogs included. But the cost can be prohibitive. Also before venturing into the world of organic and raw meat, make sure it will fit into your lifestyle. For example if you are a person who works and has to get up and going early and comes home exhausted, a bowl of dry dog food isn’t a really big deal to fix.
People treat raw diets like a religion –
My only advice is to take into consideration who is in your household who might be affected by the spread of infectious disease.
Just because the dog is eating it does not make raw meat any safer than a package of hamburger you buy at the grocery store – the one that clearly states tha in order to be safe, it is to be cooked until the juices run clear.
Dogs can and do spread sewer germs such as e. coli, and salmonella from raw meat, and there are numerous articles in the veterinary journals noting the problem.
On the other hand, Wellness is a wonderful food, and Old Mother Hubbard is a very good company to support.
I would never use raw diet on my dog as i know someone who feeds it to his farm dogs to get the taste of blood so they protect his farm from inturders, i would never use raw meat diet as it can give your dog the taste for blood and make it want to hunt and kill, also it doesnt have all the supliments a dog needs like wat is in doggie chow.
Definitely dry food. It is very healthy and satisfying for them.
well both food types have pros and cons. raw food can cause tarter to build up on your dogs teeth. i prefer dry fod because it takes off the tarter when the dog eats but it just comes down to what you want to buy and feed your dog.
