I was recently thinking of going raw, but then I realized that ALL CAT FOODS BY LAW ARE HEALTHY! They are completely balanced. Just because they have gluten and stuff doesn’t mean it’s bad-pet food people work really hard to make sure our cats are healthy. They can’t and won’t make an unhealthy cat food! I mean, they love animals because they work in the industry.

My cat lived 23 years old on Friskies and Meow Mix. She lived to be older than I am now!

Last night I asked my sons if they were locked in a pet store for one week, what would they eat in order to survive. After convincing them that they will die if they eat nothing at all my older teen said he’d eat bird seeds which is silly to me because he’ll have to eat the pack itself before his stomach is satisfied, my younger son said that he would eat the fish. that was hilarious because I’m sure he’s thinking the fish that i call him to the table to eat and not the squirmy little raw ones. Yuk!!
When my turn came I told them thet I would eat me a can of cat food and curl up on one of the cat beds and fall asleep watching the fish tank. the boys thought I was a FREAK for choosing cat food…MEOW!!

What would you eat to survive? Please keep it clean so i can show it to the boys when they get home from school

My cat has been eating this brand of cat food but I don’t know if its good for him. Because he always diarrhea’s in the house without clawing at the door like he used too. I’m not sure if its something he eats outside either.

So my cat is almost 2 years old now and I still give her the kitten food. I bought some adult cat food and Im unsure how to give it to her. The lady that I bought my cat from told me that I need to put a little bit of the adult food into the cat food and increase it every day. Is that how Im supposed to do it or should I just give my cat the new food all at once?

Can anyone recommend a healthy, affordable, and easy to find cat food that would help an adult indoor cat who suffers from year round dandruff? I’m assuming that the amount of fats or oils in the food is what makes the difference, and we do give our cat fish oil supplements from time to time to help with that…
If dry foods ARE considered an all around problem, what wet cat foods would be recommended fitting the same criteria?

At first I was feeding my 3 year old indoor cat Science Diet. I heard it consisted of mostly grains, which is not good for a cat. I immediately cut her off of Science Diet and began my search for a brand of cat food that consisted of mostly meat. I was so shocked at the amount of grains in cat food and really disgusted with these companies. I have heard of the Wellness brand and I am interested. Is that a reliable brand? Should I feed her canned food? Or should I just cook fresh meats for her?

My older cat who is 10 has had a sensitive stomach since she was young. My younger cat is very picky and does not like a lot of cat food made for sensitive stomachs. What cat food is there that would be easy on my older cats tummy and taste better for my younger cat?

I got my dog from the pound in September of 2005. She recieved all her shots then, including rabies. Two weeks ago my husband gave her another rabies shot himself. Tonight my dog saw a raccoon eating the cat’s food and attacked it. The poor raccoon tried to get away, but my husband had to pull Ruby off of it and put her in the house. Ruby now has a few cuts on her leg and snout. I really don’t believe this animal had rabies because it was eating cat food while another cat sat and watched. But I am a worrier and think the worst…would Ruby’s rabie vaccine she got two weeks ago have already kicked in? And even if it didn’t, almost all rabies vaccines last for 2-3 years depending on which one you use, right? So the one she got less than two years ago would still be protecting her? Sorry for the melt down, I just need reassurance.
He got the shot at a Vet supply store. He got it out of a refrigorator thing and the man that owns the store(he used to be a vet) told him how to use it….it better have worked cuz it cost a pretty penny!
