Any tips on dog training? I’m trying to re-train my dog, it’s working really well so far. The only issue I have is that she is way obsessed with her treats. I had them sitting on the ground, but she was so obsessed with them that I had to put them in a cup. I’m not sure what to do. Also, what tricks should should I teach her– I have sit, lay, we’re working on roll over, and heel. She can also do come and stay.

Can anyone recommend a good dog training book?

We have two Goldens that are 1 year old. I literally HATE walking the boy because he is so very disobedient. He wants to pull me and HAS pulled both of our children down onto the pavement, so they are unable to walk the dogs at all. A good dog training book would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, so I am a junior in High School and for my future I really want to be a dog trainer. But when ever i google "dog training schools" it just gives me links like if i wanted to take my dog to a training school. Please help me if you know of a college that specializes in teaching people how to train dogs or be a dog trainer. Thank you.

Worst dog training class you were ever in?

Dog training spray for when a dog goes potty somewhere they aren't supposed to?

My gramma’s dog goes to the bathroom on the couch, like peeing and pooping. My dog is in the same room as hers. I don’t know which dog is doing it but I think its hers. Anywayz.. tomorrow me and my gramma are gunna go shopping for the dogs. So if anyone knows a good type of dog training spray thingy that will make them stop going on the couch that would be helpful.

what should I look for in a dog training/behavior school?

I love cesar millans techniques and I dont want to do anything that he calls using human psychology on a dog. So with that in mind what should I look for in a dog training school? Is there a difference between dog psychology and dog training or is that all one in the same?

I want to open my own rescue shelter I have everything figured out and I know the basics on dog training but I want to learn more just to make sure I’m 100% ready . So where can I get training in traing lol.thats all I’m worried about I have everything else figured out. Pls help.

How to open dog training business?

I am only 13, but I REALLY want to be a dog trainer. I think it would be so cool to help people train their dogs over the summer. My dog is really well trained, and we’ve even begun to work on our freestyle routine, but I just have no idea how I would start a dog training business, how much I would charge, and how I would get people to come and trust a 13 year old to train their dog. I will be 14 on Monday if that helps at all.

unsatisfactory dog boarding experience with my greyhounds?

Yahoo community I need your help. We went on a 9 day vacation and left our 2 greyhounds with a lady who does dog training and boarding at her home. She was recommended by the local rescue group. We went for a visit before we dropped the dogs off to discuss their issues.. mostly that greys are delicate and NOT yard dogs. We paid a premium price to board them in a home environment. And now that my dogs are home we realize that is not what we got. They have callouses, chapped skin, missing hair, and sunburn. They are stiff, lame, and sore. I already paid her and didnt inspect them closely until I got home. I was very tired when I picked them up and I trusted her and her reputation.

What would you do?
