Will my insurance company see me at fault?

Hi,

So it was 9:35 at night and I was making a left turn. It was completely clear. As I made my left turn onto a side street a small animal ran into the road and I slammed the breaks, suddenly a car coming from my right hand side hit me messing up the passenger side of my vehicle. Will my insurance company see me at fault?

I have two dogs. One just turned 1yr in June, and the other will be 1yr in September. I want to get pet insurance for them, but I don’t know which insurance company is the best one to choose. I’ve heard that some company’s will give you some type of discount if you have more than one dog. I’ve also heard that some pet insurance company’s only cover a few things for a high price.

Just need someone to point me in the right direction.

Thanks

There was some damage done to the fascia- it is cracked. I have a 0.00 deductible. I kept putting off calling the Ins. Co. because I didn’t have any other transportation & know my car will be out of service for a few weeks. I now have a 2nd car. Will my insurance company still cover if I am truthful and tell them how long ago this took place? My company is American Family.
No rust involved, these cars are made of plastic.

health insurance for dogs?

does anyone know what insurance company covers surgery for dogs. ie. c-section. We went to visit the breeder and he said that my little pitty may have to have a c-section due to her being so "small" in that area.

Or does anyone know how much a c-section go for?
I am only breeding my pit because it was in the contract we signed wqhen we got her. Believe me if it was not in the contract she would have been spayed already.

She is only 1 year old and we are not breeding her untill her 3rd cycle or when she turns 2 which ever come first.

after that she will be spayed.

I am getting a pit bull as a service dog; she will be official. My question is this: in the state of Colorado, can the insurance company raise the price of our home insurance for having a ‘bully breed’, if she is a service dog? Or is that an infringement upon my rights as a disabled person?

I was thinking about getting pet health insurance, and I assumed the point of pet health insurance is so you don’t have to pay at the visit… I’ve been looking into a few and all of them say you need to pay the vet in full at the time of visit (yea because everyone always has that kind of money lying around, especially sometimes pets have accidents that you don’t plan on). Then there is some sort of claim you fill out and send to the insurance company who most I’ve seen reimburse 80% of what you paid…
They also state it can take up to 30 days to get your reimbursement…
Then I was looking at one of the claim forms and read this which really confused me
"Would you like reimbursement sent directly to the vet or clinic listed on this form?"
What is going on here?? Aren’t they supposed to reimburse ME? Why would you reimburse the vet who I have already paid…
Please anyone that can clear up confusion and help me, thank you!

What is a good pet insurance that covers cancer?

I’ve looked at the ASPCA, however I’m not impressed with their insurance. If I read correctly a long time ago it is covered but only for the year they get it. So if a dog got cancer in Nov of 2010 then by Jan of 2011 the cycle begins again and the coverage for the cancer is dropped as it is not a pre-existing condition. (Although you had the insurance before.) I’ve noticed others do that too and it seems to be common. Does any one know of a good pet insurance company? Thanks.

Will the damage to the car be covered under his insurance policy? I was driving and the insurance company knows that.

Can my dog get a driving license?

I’ve brought my dog in the car ever since he was a pup and he’s always sat right up in the passenger seat looking out the window and watching me drive. I brought him home for the Christmas to my family home. On Christmas eve eve, I put on the car to warm it up before heading out. My brother went into the back seat to take out his presents. It’s a 2 door car so he had to push the seat up to the steering wheel. When I came out to go down to the shops, the dog had reversed the car and was sitting waiting for me, sitting in the driver’s seat. I thought my brother had done it, but he says he didn’t. It couldn’t be the dog though I thought.

Anyways, on St Stephen’s Day I went for a few drinks locally and had to get a taxi home. When I woke up the next morning, the car was crashed into the pillar at the gate. The dog had obviously taken my keys and driven my car home from the pub, but crashed it at the gate. The driver’s seat was covered in his hair.

Now obviously he will need lessons, but it could be very useful for me if he could drive me home from the pub or go and do the shopping and all the rest. I don’t want this crash to end his chances of driving before they’ve even begun, which it would do if I were to report the crash now. So after I give him lessons, can I get him his license and insure him on my policy? Then I can report the crash and have my car repaired by the insurance company.

Thanks

Is PurinaCare a good insurance for dogs?

I am looking into getting insurance for my 4 month old shiba inu and I was looking for something that covered accidents and illness as well as annual check ups, shots, neutering/spaying and other wellness options. I liked Petplan and Trupanion but those were accident and sickness only. Does anyone have any opinion on PurinaCare or any other insurance company that provides that kind of coverage?
