My horse is:
~Irritable (grumpy, grouchy)
~Unwilling to move forward
~Tired
And she just tested positive for Lyme Disease. However, she may have had Lyme earlier in life, though it IS possible she has just gotten it from a tick. I have heard from a number of people that after a horse has Lyme once, they will always test positive. So is it possible for my horse to have something other than Lyme?
No fever.
No lameness.
Just the above symptoms. For further explanation of the unwillingness to go… She will be trotting along then just want to stop. After she stops, she does NOT want to go again.

I have had lyme disease twice and now have been diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome. I’m wondering about a connection between these diseases and autism, which I’ve heard may be related.

I am currently looking for a baby sitter and found this woman who looks like a responsible and caring person. However, she has been having lyme disease for several years although she said she is managing well. What are the causes of chronic lyme disease? She lives in rural area and I just don’t want her to somehow bring the ticks to our house.

I have been ill for over 8 months and been to several doctors with still no definite diagnosis. I first felt like I had the flu and it developed into daily pain throughout my body. Tests have shown inflammation throughout my body and now I am having these horrible headaches every day. I was talking to a friend about this and she told me I should be tested for Lyme disease. How do doctors test for this? How long does it take to get results? Anyone familiar with Lyme?

I’ve been doing alot of digging recently about lyme disease which I think I might have. I’m currently 29 years of age and when I was 5 my mother found a tick on me and took me to a hospital where they didn’t really want to do much-probably for the fact this was an inner city hospital where they don’t see many tick bites.
Only recently have I been feeling odd and am wondering why? Many of my current symptoms seem to fall in line with lyme disease like the stiff neck, aching joint in my neck, fatigue and flu-like symptoms-which has past for now. Other symptoms are somewhat related to slight memory loss, especially with vocabulary.
I have an appointment with my doctor this coming wednesday but i’m wondering if this disease could really have been in me for decades showing relatively no signs until now. I suppose me living a healthy life and diet could have kept the disease at bay, but that still seems like a long time.

My dog got lyme disease when we were up in the delaware water gap. We brought her to the vet and they gave us antibiotics. It has been about a week, and every other day ahe can barely walk. I can’t bring her on hikes anymore, and I’m really worried. She is taking the medicine for another 5 weeks. Do I just need to wate it out. She is an 8 year old labrador.

I was diagnosed with mono and Lyme disease at the same time a little over two months ago. When, if ever, will I be allowed to give blood again?

I’ve heard that live spiroketes have been found in lyme disease sufferers so would I be reinfecting myself? I have had benefit from this therapy with other ailments and would love to try it for lyme but don’t want to harm myself. Anyone have any insights?

My room mate has the classic bulls eye around his tick bite and the doctor told him he has blood poisoning and will get a test later for lyme disease. He is on antibiotics for the blood poisoning, but keeps trying to stop taking it because the drugs make him sick. I know that stopping antibiotics halfway through is terrible, but I can’t explain to him well enough why this is. Advice on both would be appreciated.

I was told by a friend sho has lyme disease that it makes the lyme disease worse. I did a google search and it mentioned it because of lyme disease attacking the nervous system. The Dr thinks I have lyme disease and we are waiting on test to confirm it. I am suppose to have the root canal soon. What should I do?
Actually I don’t really have much pain with it. I just don’t want to end up losing the tooh because it’s a front tooth but I also don’t want to risk making lyme more prominent if I do indeed have it

Someone told me that lyme disease is incurable and that if you’ve got it and you get pregnant, your baby will end up with it too.
Can anyone confirm or deny this for me with sources?
