I know I could call for a quote, but I’m 13! I really want a horse and my mom said I might be able to get one if I made sure that she wouldn’t have to pay thousands of dollars in vet bills. So I know how every horse is different and the price depends on like how old the horse is, but I basically know nothing about insurance!!! I want to know if it could somehow be added on to our medical, car, house, etc insurance. I also want to know how I can get full coverage, but not pay too much. Around – a month is the highest I can go. So who are you insured with, how much do you pay, if you have more than one horse round the price up for one, what do you think I should do??? Thanks!!!

I want to convince my parents to get me a ball python but my mom is convinced that all reptiles cause diseases so I was wondering if that is true.
From what I’ve read online, snakes seem pretty safe but I’d like to get another opinion.

My mom had colon cancer that has now been in remission for two years. Her doctor wants her to do all kinds of testing, but will not tell her what will be covered under her insurance plan. My mom has both Anthem and Medicare coverage. Can anyone tell me how often a PET scan can be done per year and still be covered? Thanks!
Can approval be given by the insurance provider before the PET scan is done? My mom can’t afford the procedure so that cost would kill her! She just tole me a CT scan is done at that time too so can approval be given for both prior to haveing them done? Thanks for all your insight!!!

My mom has been in love with English Bulldoggs for many years. We (as a family) have always poo’d on her idea for having one, mainly because our vet called them a ‘vet’s pet’ because of so many health problems.

it seems like it’s so hard to come across a well made English Bulldog nowadays without risking hip or back problems, cherry eye, breathing problems, etc.

We are beginning our research into owning a Bulldog. Our plan is to finish finding our Aussie puppy, and then begin looking at upcoming Bulldog litters early next year.

Are they really such a health mess? We would want one that had show potential (It might be fun to show something smaller then an Aussie!) and i know that ones in town that are pieces of crap with no health testings can fetch 00 because they are "rare" up here.

Any advice on going about this?

Okay i live in Northern California where the licensing fee for unutered dog is , My mom just recently got citation in Los Angeles for not having our german shephard licensed. She didn’t license him last year and currently isnt either (5 unutered fee In La). I don’t want my German Shephard nuetered, he’s a full blood and is really something, his parents were imported here. In LA all dogs have to be nutered, there are some exceptions but my dog doesn’t fall under any of them. If I move him out here with me, Licensed him here, and kept him with me. Does my mom still have to pay her citation in court for not having him licensed?
Kelly: I am planning on breading him, once licensed here i would get a breading license as well.
Just got back from court, I licensed him for , he is ready to have his pup’s and there was no citation fee, i licensed him within the 8 days of the citation and they simply just wanted to see the dog was registered, even if he was registered in another county.

As for the I’m so informative answer, you are pathetic stop living threw the internet, get a life! I looked at most of the answers you write to other people and your on here way to much. My mom didn’t get a speeding ticket, she got a citation for an unlicensed dog, even when walking into the court room the judge laughed and stated that this was ridiculous citation and that even his dog wasn’t licensed (and his wife works at an animal shelter). My Dogs original breeders are in Germany with the parents and they have my dogs information (close family friends). either way all i had to pay was dollars, which is nothing compared to what many people said I would pay, just letting other people know for the near future.

I’ve been doing research on if the breeders are trustworthy, but not how early you should order the puppy. My mom said she’d consider getting a dog next year and I’m planning to tell her that we should pick it up around the time I end my first semester of college. But when would we make plans with the breeder to ask questions and arrange to buy the puppy?

I love dogs, and my heart keeps saying professional dog trainer when I think about what I want to do for a living. I am interested in knowing if I could become a trainer for the government (police k-9, military, drug dogs, search & rescue, etc.)? What type of degree do I need? How can I get started? I’m getting involved in Schutzhund, a dog sport similar to police dog training, and I really enjoy it (I’m a decoy, but trying to find out if I can shadow and aid the trainers). My mom needs to know if this career will have health insurance? How much could I make per year?

I live with my parents and my dad is talking about gettting a dog. We have 2 cats- one is almost 14 and the other one is 7 years old. Dad’s cat passed away in February of this year and he’s been talking about getting a dog ever since. Dad talks about getting a Lab or a border collie, but I don’t think either one of those dog breeds would be the most compatible with our 2 cats. Mom’s 7 year old cat is very territorial of the back porch and attacks any animal that comes on or near it and my 14 year old cat runs whenever an animal comes in the house. Mom’s alllergic to dog hair, so we can’t have a longhaired breed dog. What kind of dog gets along well with cats, because Dad’s starting to get serious about getting a dog?

I have found a wonderful horse. My parents say that they know I am responsible, mature, and committed to owning a horse. Mom had said that she wanted to lease a horse first, so I get to bond with the horse and to see if the horse and I connect. Now she says we aren’t going to, and she won’t tell me why. She and dad said that we can afford a horse, and everything, but she still won’t give. I have tons of horse experience- riding, training, and vet care. I have found an amazing place to board a horse, where we have to pay almost nothing- I just work off most of the board. I am getting certified in trimming and shoeing, so that gets rid of another cost. All my parents have to pay for is the initial cost of the horse which they said they could handle. Please help me!

Every time I break a horse, it ends up being a slow horse. I’ve heard that the Kentucky Saddler (golden Horse) is the best. And that’s the one that Bonnie gives you when you start to break other horses. When my mom plays she says you have to kill them to get your other horse. So, she takes them out to a lonely feild, gets off the horse, wistles, and then shoots the horse in the neck. Please tell her she’s wrong and you can get the horses another way.
