When I bought him, it wasn’t that important to me, but now I’m curious. Both of his parents are supposedly akc registered but I have no paperwork. I paid 0 for him and I want to have him registered. How do I do it?
i want to buy a pet bunny. My parents were so close to buy it, but when they found out pet insurance can be expensive they changed there minds. They said i need to have the right amount of dollars for the pet insurance….HELP! If it is expensive i can not buy it, if it is cheap-normal i might get to buy it.
My husband and I are renting his parents old house. The problem is, that I recently have been diagnosed with pet allergies… and his parents had several pets living in that house (for 30 yrs). To avoid those pesky allergies I’ve experienced since moving into that house, we would like to move. We want to buy a house as opposed to renting again (it’s such a waste of money).
The problem is that I have bad credit. I’m wondering if my bad credit would get us turned down for a home loan?

I have a project to do for Biology and we have to make a pedigree of our family. My parents moved here from South America and we haven’t been able to have contact with our family for ten years. I told me teacher this and he said to do a pedigree on an animal. I know that you can do a pedigree on race horses and dogs, but how would you find out their ancestry? Which animals are the easiest do?
I got my German Shepherd puppy, Rocco, last week and I now am seeking to get his AKC papers. I saw both of the parents of my puppy and they appeared to be purebred. Now, his mother has her AKC papers however his father’s owner misplaced his papers. So, both of his parents are registered but only the mother has the papers. How can I get my puppy registered? I have no problem reconnecting with the people who I got my puppy from.
My parents accidental bought purina puppy chow for all puppies instead of the puppy chow for large breed puppies. Should we take the bag back and get the large breed puppy food or is the all puppy food fine for her. Does she need the joint lubrication stuff in her food or will she be fine in the future and not get any joint problems unless she is overweight or getting old?
Hi, I’m thinking of getting a chimpanzee and I would like some advice.. I’m thinking way ahead as we haven’t really made any plans… We have a lot of space outside where we could build a house and a playground for it, so I think it’s a good idea as I love monkeys and exotic animals. We already have a few small monkeys and different animals but never had something like a chimp so I really do need some advice… How large would it’s outside area have to be, what kind of food they need, what are the common health issues etc. Thank you very much for your answers.

I have found board for 5 a month which includes hay, grain and the deworming every 8 weeks. I was also wondering what the average lease is going for? I figured that would lower the price per month. Thanks for the help!!
For homework we have to make a pedigree chart. Should I add the adopted child to the offspring line? The adopted childs parents are added in the chart description too.

where would be the first place you went? You want a purebred, registered, family dog. Well, most likely you’d look in the newspaper first or possibly go to the pet shop.. You don’t want to pay more than 0 for the dog.
That’s how most people are, right? So they end up going to BYBs, right? So, m question is, what would be a good way to educate the public about Reputable breeders? Obviously the typical person looking for a dog isn’t going to search around (most likely not…), so if RBs went to the general public?
By going to people, I mean an RB putting an add in the paper like:
"Litter *planned* of AKC registered Chihuahuas. Both parents shown and health tested. Taking deposits now. Show and pet puppies should be produced."
Something along those lines. Would that be a good idea? Yes, most RBs will have waiting lists for puppies, but this way when someone calls, they (the RB) can either tell the person they can add them to a waiting list, or the RB can help that person find another good breeder with puppies available.
So, good idea? Any other ideas on the subject?

I am planning to buy a puppy. I searched and found out what type of documents is necessary for a legal transaction from a reliable breeder. But how will I understand that the papers provided by the breeder are original for the pups and the parents? The papers includes AKC documents and health related paper works.

Okay i live in Northern California where the licensing fee for unutered dog is , My mom just recently got citation in Los Angeles for not having our german shephard licensed. She didn’t license him last year and currently isnt either (5 unutered fee In La). I don’t want my German Shephard nuetered, he’s a full blood and is really something, his parents were imported here. In LA all dogs have to be nutered, there are some exceptions but my dog doesn’t fall under any of them. If I move him out here with me, Licensed him here, and kept him with me. Does my mom still have to pay her citation in court for not having him licensed?
Kelly: I am planning on breading him, once licensed here i would get a breading license as well. 
Just got back from court, I licensed him for , he is ready to have his pup’s and there was no citation fee, i licensed him within the 8 days of the citation and they simply just wanted to see the dog was registered, even if he was registered in another county.
As for the I’m so informative answer, you are pathetic stop living threw the internet, get a life! I looked at most of the answers you write to other people and your on here way to much. My mom didn’t get a speeding ticket, she got a citation for an unlicensed dog, even when walking into the court room the judge laughed and stated that this was ridiculous citation and that even his dog wasn’t licensed (and his wife works at an animal shelter). My Dogs original breeders are in Germany with the parents and they have my dogs information (close family friends). either way all i had to pay was dollars, which is nothing compared to what many people said I would pay, just letting other people know for the near future.
