Well I want to get my dog the best pet insurance there is but all the ones that I got quotes for, cover everything but C-sections, Ultrasounds, ect.
I have two dogs and a cat, and normal vet bills can really add up. Just wondering if pet insurance was really worth it.

I have a 5 year-old male cat who is a mixed breed. Recently I’ve had to take him to the vet because he had a blockage of struvite crystals in his urethra. The total amount I spent on him came to about 00. The vet said this could happen again. There is no way I can pay that much again. I’ll be paying off that amount for the next year.
I was looking into pet insurance and found a company that looked pretty promising. The only thing is that I don’t know what would count preexistingting condition. I don’t think this would count because there’s only a *chance* that it’ll happen again. The site says insurance would cover recurring illnesses, but I don’t know how to determine recurring from preexisting.
If anyone knows more about pet insurance or has any advice whatsoever in regards to pet insurance and pet care, let me know.

I tried to get pet insurance, but no insurance covers anything he was born with. He was a gift from my father so i traced the dog back to a store my father bought him. I had all the paper work proving that he was born with this condition and the owner of the store thought i was lying, but why would i lie about my own dog. Hes like my son. So went back to my vet had her write a letter. She said i had two options, to give the dog back (that sounds extreamly cruel and i would never do it) or that the store was only going to offer me 600 dollars out of 2,490.
I’m looking into breeding Bengal cats for a living. I’ve been doing lots of studying and realize this is no easy task. You don’t buy 2 cats, let them have babies, and consider yourself rich. There’s a ton of care and money put into making the cats happy, trained, entertained, and loved. So far It’s going to cost me ,000 just to get started with shelter, heat, outside kennels, toys, towers, beds, and the cats to breed. The upkeep with vet care, food, flea meds, litter, so on and so forth. This is a JOB. I will be working with these cats and kittens around the clock. I will be training them, loving them, playing with them, taking them for walks, and doing whatever it takes to keep them happy.
So I’m not asking for approval of breeding… I’m not looking to hear how cruel I am. I will only be breeding 3 cats at a time, and only up to 4 times in a total of 2 years. I will not be abusing these animals. They will have babies as if they would in the wild. So No Haters.
Okay so my question – Pet Insurance. I seen a site I can get insurance for 1 cat for a month. What about kittens? Is there some kind of pet insurance for breeders? It’s not like I can get pet insurance for each individual kitten, and then 13 weeks later when it’s time to send them off to their new home, take them off the insurance??
2nd question – What do Kittens need up to 13 weeks of age? What shots will they need? What tests will they need? And how much will all of this cost without insurance?

My entire life I’ve had a love for animals, especially cats. I took a special interest in Bengals a few years ago. I’ve done a lot of studying. Learning how to properly train. Learning what makes a Bengal top rated. What their habitat is. What they require in every day life, and nutrition. How does anyone have right to tell me I’m not doing this for the right reasons if you don’t know me or my intentions?
I’ve been wanting a career with animals my entire life. I used to want to work with Tigers, until I learned of the smaller exotic cats. Anyone who knows me knows me as the "animal lover".

I have a huge Goldendoodle. Last night he couldn’t stand up. He tried and tried and finally got up and started limping. It seems to be his right side/hip. He has in the past started having more trouble getting up but I just figured it was because he was getting a little older and gained a few pounds. He will turn 4 in Feb. I have been thinking of pet insurance but wondered how it worked. I also wonder if it would apply to any condition that was pre-existing. Today our vet called us and said he thinks our 7 month old puppy has Addison’s Disease. He is planning to review her file with a few other vets in a couple days, so there is nothing specifically pertaining to Addison’s Disease in her file.
If we get insurance ASAP, would this be considered a pre-existing condition if there were running other tests? (She had Giardia before).
Any information or personal experience about pet insurance would be GREATLY appreciated as we’re looking at about 0/month treatments on a PUPPY.

not important details:
i never took my bird to the vet for 6 or 7 years so since i have a kitten im thinking about having them start going but im not a rich person. the kitten is weeks and sprained it front paw so unless it gets better in 2 days i have no choice.
the kitten didnt exactly sprain its paw but it jumped down and has a limp now. it drank its krm (kitten replacement milk) and went to sleep.
