how much money would pet insurance be for 7 cats and a dog. would there be a discount due to the amount or would it cost way to much
I pay only .00/month for pet insurance on my puppy.
I’m not the richest person in the world but I think it’ll all be worth it if she ever gets sick etc.
I know I couldn’t afford it if anything did happen to her, and I love her ALOT.
My boyfriend always complains about me wasting my money on it because "she’ll never get sick".
He also says its a waste of money because if something does happen, I still have to pay 0 BUT they’ll take care of the rest.
Do you think I’m wasting my money?
I already have VPI pet insurance to cover vet costs for my doggy, but if there was an accident that would unfortunately result in death, is there coverage for the death or is a pet considered to be too high of risk and therefore, not insurable?
I am a college student and have wanted a dog for my entire life but have been unable to get one because of my parents forbidding me to own one in their home. However, I may be getting an apartment soon and would like to adopt a Labrador Retriever. I plan to adopt a grown dog because I can’t commit to training a puppy at this point but know that I can commit to spending enough time with an adult dog and exercising it (and teaching it how to play Frisbee!) and caring for it. My main question is simply how much the cost of caring for a Labrador Retriever is. I have done research and have a general idea but essentially would like to know an average for things such as food bills, pet insurance bills, and vet bills for this breed of dog. I know this breed has some health issues like heart worm and hip problems so I was wondering what type of bills these problems would cost. I understand the cost of owning a dog is not cheap but I was just looking for a general idea as I plan out my finances.
I would like to clarify that when I was at class my roommates would be with the dog and at most it would be alone for a few hours a day; there are thousands of dogs across the country that are alone all day while their family is at work and school. These dogs may spend 8 hours alone (which mine would not) and for adult dogs this is done all the time with happy dogs.
I am looking to get started in babysitting or something like that like pet sitting. I am looking into getting a dog and my mom would pay the fee of the dog as long as I pay for most of everything else it needs. I am going to get pet insurance to help so i dont have to deal with vet bills. I know that no dog is cheap but my mom is going to help out. Right now a get a month for allowance and I feel that isn’t going to be enough for a small dog. I am going to ask my dad if I can do chores at his house for allowance of maybe a month or maybe a little more, but I would like to start babysitting or something to get more because I want to make sure I definitely have enough for my dog. Can you give me ideas of what a 14 year old girl can do for a job, and also how to get started in babysitting? Thanks!

I have always pondered the thought of pet insurance but never signed up. Well this month, thanks to my Great Dane and Puggle, I am 0 more in debt than I was at the start of the year. LOL. Apparently ER visits are expensive, even more so to just find out I was paranoid on one of them. After the most recent one this week where I ended up spending on pain meds I could get for a human for I realized I should have pet insurance. Probably a great idea anyway owning a Great Dane pup and a 19# puggle that thinks she is his size. So wondering where you have all found the best deals and if its worth it to add the routine care on to it?
We just recently acquired two kittens, they are currently 7 weeks old. We already have a 4 year old cat. With all these animals we know that the vet bills are going to be stacking up. I just got a 6 week old Doberman and debating if pet insurance is worth it. Also what companies are good and the ones to stay away from. Tonight is our puppy’s first night at our house. Then tomorrow morning I am taking him to the Vet for check up. He did really good for his first day but is a little gassy. I mixed the sellers food(cheap) with the food I bought (blue buffalo) but he is very gassy. Also any helpful suggestions on the whining?

Well In need to make 0 dollars by the end of summer so I can adopt this amazing cat named Pepperoni. My parents think that an allowance will spoil me so I can save up like that. They will however pay for food in half, and it has a vet exam, spayed, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations. I have never had a pet bigger than Mocha, my Hamster. What else would it take to care for this kitten? And how do I convince my parents I am responsible enough? How much does pet Insurance cost? Any one have any ideas? Remember Best Answer gets 10 pts. My vet recommended the ASPCA or VPI pet insurance, but when I went online and looked at reviews, neither of those did very well. The best reviewed ones were Embrace and PetPlan US. Does anyone have any feedback on any of these?
im so tired of how high pet care is lately. i just had to put down my cat today and its heart breaking. he had a urinary blockage and required a specific surgery. i took him to the ASPCA thinking they could help. the total to help him cost over 3000$. its just crazy. maybe its because it was in new york? where do people go to save their pets? has the world gone crazy? now i know how people feel about insurance in general. its just so depressing, to feel like you cant do anything and have no options left.

i also want to add, i did have pet insurance, but the battles to get reimbursed were just crazy. they hardly reimburse you anything for routine exams, let alone surgeries. i just dont get it. how do people afford these kinds of surgeries for pets?
we just got two for free from a friend. whenever anyone asks us what they are and we tell them, the person acts really surprised that we got them for free and always remarks on how they are a rare breed in the US. anyone know about this? also some people have told us that because they are a rare breed and have health problems that it is hard to get pet insurance for them. true??
