When should i take my dog for his shots, license, etc… ?

I have a red nose pitbull puppy thats only 1 month old. When should I take him to get his shots, license, and when should i start giving him puppy food ? How much would the shots and license cost ? If anyone doesn’t know the answer to my question then can someone tell me a website to a vet that will answer questions for free ? No credit card information. Thank you.

Rabies is given between 12 weeks and 6 months depending on the state that you live in.
As far as shots, here’s the recommendations from the American Animal Hospital Association. This is the protocol that all 27 US vet universities are using.

Shots begin at 6-8 weeks. Usually you cannot get the license until the rabies vaccine is done and that is given at 12 weeks. Worming should be started NOW. Puppies can be fed puppy food moistened with warm water or dog milk replacer at 3.5 weeks or later.
Shots cost what the vet charges. You need to call some local vets and ask. There is no web site that can tell you what the local vet will charge.
I took my puppy today and paid $26 for the office visit, and $12.50 for the rabies vaccine. Heartguard was another $60.
The license also depends on your county. It varies county to county even in the same state.
You need to do a lot of calling around and see what prices are. If you cannot afford the bare minimum, do not get a puppy. They are VERY costly the first year!!!!

Call your local Animal Shelter they can answer all your questions and tell you where to go for low cost shots.
You should go to your local shelter or police station to get your dog liscence. And your puppy should get his shots at the nearest vet. Feed him half of his regular diet and half of his new diet so he doesn’t vomit.
You need to take the puppy to the vet now. If money is a problem the SPCA may have more affordable prices or can tell you where to go.
contact your vet for shots and shot records. rabies vaccine can be done at 4months of age, but some vets still prefer to wait until the puppy is 6months.
usually, licenses coincide with the rabies vaccine, so a license could probably be acquired at 4months of age.

The answer is simple. Call a veterinarian living close to you and ask him or her all your questions. The vet will probably give you directions on how to reach the office and kennel.
A one-month-old puppy should be seen by a vet ASAP. Rabies shots come a little later, and neutering should be done for males at eight months old and females at six months old.
as soon as you can .. you should start giving him puppy food .. like now . hehe .. he cant starve 2 death ! … shots usually cost about $100 but it also depends which ones he gets .. also go to google !
