Why does my dog avoid my other sick dog?

I have 2 dogs and one is sick. Why does my non sick dog avoid the sick one when she would normally torment him. She is afraid to even go near him and usually they are inseparable?

She senses that he’s sick and she doesn’t know what to do about it. His illness is making her uncomfortable, so she’s avoiding it and him. Let her have her space.
Maybe cause it feels bad for it and knows it shouldn’t get near the sick one. Maybe it’s an animal instinct i would say.
She is not avoiding him, she knows he is not doing well and therefore leaving him alone. You should be happy, not worried.
