Will health insurance plans pay for some/all of an air purifier for the Home?

My son is highly Allergic to ALL pollens, dust (dust mites), pet dander, mold (all types), and smoke.
My house is 60+ years old w/Radiators..no central air..we need this for him to get ANY sleep at all..anyone know if they help w/this..we have a great plan w/blue cross.

You would have to ask your insurance. You would also have to get the doctor to write a prescription for it.
i certainly hope NOT.
Why should policyholders be forced to pay for crap like that?
Just get an order from your doctor and call your insurance plan.
